An inspiring rock band. Six gynecologic cancer doctors from across the country are taking healing and the arts to a new level. Surgeons by day, rock stars by night, N.E.D. heals the bodies and souls of women everywhere, using the power of music to overcome the negative feelings haunting the lives of anyone affected by cancer. What was started as a novelty meant to entertain, has turned into a powerful awareness movement to give a voice to women effected by gynecologic cancers. Their songs are designed to empower women, give them hope and to break the silence surrounding gynecologic cancers.

A touching documentary. Interweaving the harrowing experiences and remarkable courage of women, devoted families, and dedicated doctors, one glimpse into the lives of the band N.E.D. shows the devotion these doctors have for their patients, the power of music for bringing people together, and the importance of gynecologic cancer awareness. Music and medicine join forces in this film celebrating life, as the surgeons of N.E.D. are transformed into rising rock stars and their patients and loved ones jump on the bandwagon, infusing the struggle for survival with heart, hope, and Rock ‘n’ Roll.
