//It’s a Family Affair!

Globe-athon is a family affair! Mother and daughter dance duo, Cassandra Nuamah and Kukuwa Nuamah, are adding a special flair to our float in the West Indian Day Parade Monday. Choreographing for our globe-athon revelers the Nuamah’s signature moves will no doubt capture attention for a cause we believe in, ending the silence surrounding women’s cancers.

Cassandra, or “Coach Cass” as she is known, is all about health and wellness and coaches people on how to achieve it. She also teaches the Kukuwa® African Dance Workout created by her mother. For her part, Kukuwa has been endorsed by Oprah in ‘O’ Magazine, Essence and People Magazine. She is an internationally acclaimed African dance performer, choreographer and founder of Gye Nyame African Cultural Dance Company. We hope you joined Cassandra on the Parkway on Monday and shaked your boombsey®
